Steerable Outboard 15.0

Our steerable outboard boasts an impressive 320-degree rotation and 360-degree propulsion, configurable to lower angles if needed. This wide range of motion ensures optimal maneuverability, making navigation and docking more precise and effortless for the operator.

The steerable outboard supports remote operation. This means it can be controlled by your local service partner, and RDT technicians are able to provide remote support through adjustable settings. Understanding that different applications require different control solutions, we have developed both joystick and steering wheel options. For those seeking even more versatility, the smart steering system option is available.

What are the main differences in control functionality between the Entry Level Outboard and Steerable Outboard?

– The Entry Level Outboard motor has a hydraulic steering cylinder, which is not included in the price and must be purchased separately. In the Steerable Outboard, the electric steering motor is already built into the engine. This makes steering easier and more precise.

What key differences exist in the maneuverability of the different systems?

– The biggest difference in maneuverability between the systems is in their steering capabilities. The Entry Level Outboard can achieve a steering angle of 45 to 90 degrees depending on the steering cylinder. The Steerable Outboard, on the other hand, offers maneuverability with the ability to turn up to 320 degrees and 360 degrees propulsive power.

Do the outboards have the same trim?

– No, the outboard motors do not have the same trim options. The Entry Level Outboard has a manual trim. The Steerable Outboard, on the other hand, has an optional hydraulic trim system.
