De goedkeuring geldt voor de elektrische POD-motorserie van Rim Drive Technology. Deze motoren zijn driefasige synchrone motoren met permanentmagnet-excitatie, geregeld door een frequentieomvormer. Het gecertificeerde assortiment dekt vermogenswaarden van 0,5 tot 50 kW, met spanningen van 24 tot 570V wisselstroom. De motoren zijn geschikt voor werking met variabele frequentie en variabele snelheid. Het certificaat bevat ook IP68-bescherming, isolatieklasse F en temperatuurklasse A.
