MIT-R&D grant

Rim Drive Technology and Charged received a MIT-R&D grant from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) and the Provincie Gelderland to develop their ‘Hybrid Electric Boat Drive Train’.

Rim Drive Technology will combine their expertise in rim drive motors with the battery expertise of Charged to make small vessels more sustainable. Thanks also to Knippenborg Subsidieadvies BV for co-authoring the grant proposal.
